Crucibles, ladle liners and various special shapes are available from REMET in zirconia, alumina and fused silica. REMET facilitates the selection process for customers by comparing melting techniques, alloys being melted, size and type of furnace and thermal cycling effects. This assures the correct product is paired with the proper set of variables. Capacities ranging from 2 to 2000 lbs. (0.9 to 900 kg) are available, as well as custom shapes and sizes. Compatible Ram and Cap mixes are also available.
Remet supply a comprehensive range
of reticulated filters for superalloy, steel, aluminum and non-ferrous
casting filtration applications. Aimed at filtration of alloys within the
pouring cup or within the casting feeder system depending on the engineers
choice the objective being to eliminate ceramic and intermetallic defects
where possible.
A full range of materials, pore sizes are available with bespoke geometries
and thermal edging materials.
Any bespoke design shape with or without filteration positioning are considered alongside our standard product range of alumino silicate and high alumina pouring cups. Pouring cups are designed to withstand thermal cycling and freestanding and clamped pouring applications
