The process of polishing an ultra-thin crystalline silicone wafer requires only the highest quality materials. Polishing sols, such as SYTON®-HT50, remove the microscopic defects on the surface. These polished wafers are used in a variety of applications including microelectronics, photonics, optics, acoustics, and many others.
In addition to silicon wafer, SYTON®-HT50 has also proven to be an effective slurry for use in polishing electronic and optical substrates such as sapphire, germanium, lithium niobate and others.
