REMET 3020 has been formulated as a ready to use, no mixing required primary binder, that is stable with all major refractories and is environmentally friendly being water based.
Many foundries use REMET 3020 as a backup binder as well as primary. This means that it is possible to only have one binder on site. REMET 3020 does not have the same strength or speed of drying as the specific REMET 3010 backup binder, however were speed and efficacy of drying is not the prime concerm it is very effective.
