New Conference Paper

In conjunction with DePuy Synthes, REMET’s paper at this years EICF Seminar was titled “An Investigation into the Effect of Engineered Cobalt Aluminate Inoculant on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of ASTM F75 Alloy“. It was presented by Dr. Dooley (REMET) and Dr. Kavanagh (DePuy) at the Seminar in Helsinki.

ICI St. Louis, MO – October 27th – 30th

The 66th edition of the ICI Annual Technical Conference and Expo will be held in St. Louis, MO in October. This is a key event in the investment casting calendar and REMET are proud to be part of the event.

Dr. Gavin Dooley will be presenting his paper on “Advanced Analysis Techniques of Surface Tension of Materials to Improve Coating Performance of Investment Casting Wax” at 1:30 p.m. on Monday October 28th.

2019 ISIC Taichung City, Taiwan – November 13th – 15th

The 10th International Seminar on Investment Casting will be held Taiwan this year, hosted by the Taiwan Foundry Society.

Dr. Gavin Dooley will be presenting his paper on “The use of Advanced Materials Technology ot Improve Shell Room Efficiency” at 10:15 a.m. on Friday November 15th.

New Faces at REMET

REMET has had a number of new faces joining the team.

Bob Payne

Bob joins us as Supply Chain and Customer Service Director. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from SUNY Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo. Bob brings over 35 years of industrial experience working for companies in a diverse range of industries.

Bob is also an Adjunct Instructor at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY, focusing on engineering and production.

Bob Wartella

Bob joins us as Inside Sales Representative. He brings over 20 years of industrial Sales and Management experience, including with two Fortune 100 companies. In his previous role, he was a member of an Inside Sales team servicing Customers in a multi-state territory.
