Superwool® fiber blankets are ideally suited to individual customer applications and are available in a wide range of thicknesses and densities and offer the following benefits:

  • low-mass kiln car construction
  • tube seal fabrication
  • thermal and acoustical insulation

    • 2372ƒ‚°F classification temperature
    • Maximum continuous use temperature is application specific
    • Low biopersistent fiber
    • Excellent thermal insulating performance
    • Classified as an Alkaline Earth Silicate (AES), not refractory ceramic Fiber (RCF)
    • Fully exonerated in the EU under the provisions of Directive 97/69/EC
    • Available in 4, 6, or 8 lb. densities
    • Offered in 1/4″, 1/2″, 1ƒ€, 1 ƒ‚½ƒ€, and 2ƒ€ thicknesses.
